Roscam Family Dental Practice are looking to hire a Dental Nurse to join our team. This role is perfect for a friendly, outgoing and energetic person with fantastic communications skills, a brilliant attitude and attention to detail. The position is perfect for a newly qualified Dental Nurse or someone with prior Dental Nursing experience.

About The Role:

You'll be working chairside in a full time position alongside our experienced, friendly dental team and managerial staff helping to provide an exceptional patient experience and to contribute ideas towards tasks in the practice as a valued member of our team.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities and Duties include:

• Assisting Dentists chair-side
• Setting up Dental Surgery for clinical procedures
• Carrying out infection control and decontamination procedures after dental treatment.
• Instrument decontamination and maintenance
• Preparing, mixing and handling dental materials
• Recording dental charting and assisting with clinical records
• Assisting the dental team in providing an excellent patient experience.
• Assisting with general practice upkeep, maintenance and day-to day operations

Beneficial Skills & Experience include:

• Previous Dental Nursing experience OR Dental Nursing Qualification
• Knowledge of dental charting
• Excellent cross-infection control
• Good working knowledge of common dental materials
• Ability to complete tasks accurately and efficiently.
• Proficient Computer Skills
• Familiarity with Digital Dental Software not essential but advantageous. 

Prior experience is not essential as our comprehensive on-boarding process will train you in everything that you need to know to carry out your role with precision and confidence.

What is absolutely essential however, is that you have good energy and drive when it comes to your work as well as being open minded and willing to learn.
