An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Dental Practice Manager to become part of our dedicated team at New Life Teeth. We are a forward-thinking, private Implant and Dental practice in Dublin city with state of the art equipment. We also have our own in-house laboratory.
- Responsibility for the smooth day-to-day running of a 4 surgery practice
- Leading and motivating the reception team
- Come up with innovative solutions to ensure maximum capacity including marketing and sales experience.
- Ensuring good communication is maintained between dental professionals, support staff and the patients at all times.
- Management of administration duties within the clinic to ensure everything runs as smoothly as possible and that patients leave with a very positive impression of the clinic.
- Ensuring all legal and health and safety requirements are adhered to including HIS compliance.
- Meeting and greeting patients in a friendly manner and discussing any issues or concerns that they may have.
- Assisting the reception team with the planning and scheduling of appointments, implementation of treatment plans and keeping patient records up to date.
- Seek opportunities to grow the business by raising the practices profile using - Marketing and Sales to convert leads into new business.
- Responsible for management the accounts of the in-house laboratory using Labstar system
- Carrying out staff appraisals
- Control of finances, payment of invoices, calculating and organising salaries of dentists
- Management of staff rotas
Skills the successful applicant will require:
- Working closely with a large team of dental professionals and support staff.
- Experience working in a private practice is highly beneficial
- New Life Teeth is also a referral practice/centre and part of the role will be to liaise with referral dentists/practices
- Good general knowledge of compliance issues.
- Good IT skills, with knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Highly organised – essential for the effective management of a busy dental clinic.
- Problem Solving – ability to deal with all problems that arise in the practice in a calm and professional manner.
- Must be comfortable working at a fast pace in our ever changing industry.
- Willing to learn new skills.
- Fantastic customer service skills essential.
- IDC registration preferred
